Dating a Christian isn’t a pass to automatic dating happiness. While we can’t just apply Bible verses about marriage to modern dating dilemmas, it can help us think through some helpful principles.The passage goes on to say that there is no harmony between Christ and Belial (Satan).
I know Christians who both love God, who have dated but it has ended badly or been a complete train wreck.
They just weren’t suited or approached the relationships with unhealthy expectations. It was written in an arranged marriage culture and we can’t twist random verses to make a ‘seven steps to dating bliss’ plan.
If you were dating an unbeliever, what would honestly be your priority, romance or winning a soul for Christ? Is it wrong for a couple to live together before marriage?
If you were married to an unbeliever, how would the two of you cultivate a spiritual intimacy in your marriage? Should Christians of different denominations date or marry?
The real question should be ‘What kind of relationships do I want to build?

Instead of working together to pull the load, they would be working against each other.
